Workforce Training and Education

 

The Peak Enterprise Solutions Workforce Training and Education series is broken into several curricula and formats that provide in-depth education for all levels of the organization. These curricula combine classroom learning and hands-on application learning in the following areas:

    • Lean Enterprise Implementation
    • Organizational Leadership
    • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

The Seminar Series is a set of presentations that can be used individually or as a series for a single company or a consortium of companies such as via a Chamber of Commerce or other professional organization. Although the specific sessions to be offered are customizable with selections from all of our course offerings, the following curriculum has proven successful:

  • Lean in the Office

Due to our partnership with the Apprentice Academy of South Bend and Vincennes University, a series of seminar sessions can qualify for a certificate of learning and college credit at Vincennes University.

The Lean Enterprise Performance Certificate is a classroom learning program that combines key parts of all three curricula detailed below. Due to a partnership with the Apprentice Academy of South Bend and Vincennes University, the participant will be awarded a certificate of completion from Vincennes University and can earn college credit in the Vincennes' Business and Industry Division program "Special Instruction - Advanced Manufacturing". . In addition, this certificate program is qualified for state grant programs in Indiana and other states. This is a customizable certificate program that can be tailored to meet the needs of the group of participants.

The Lean Enterprise Implementation on-site curriculum includes the specifics needed to implement Lean Enterprise principles throughout the entire organization. This hands-on education and training program is a great way for a company to start down the path to Lean in order to eliminate waste and add value to the organization. This curriculum has been approved for use in Indiana state education grants due to our partnership with the Apprentice Academy of South Bend and Vincennes University. Participants in this program can also qualify for college credit in the Vincennes' Business and Industry Division program "Special Instruction - Advanced Manufacturing".

The Organizational Leadership curriculum addresses many issues from the point of view of leading others at all levels of the organization. Leadership Issues such as Change Management, Project Management, Organizational Culture, Strategic Planning, and Empowerment are all addressed in this series as are interpersonal skills issues such as Team Building, Supervisory Skills, Communication, and Customer Service Excellence

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) curriculum covers all aspects of ERP, Materials Management and Supply Chain Management. This curriculum is much along this line of APICS education with topic areas that include the basics of ERP and Supply Chain Management, Master Planning and Detail Scheduling, Execution and Control of Operations, and Strategic management of Resources.
